What we collect, and why.

The short version

We collect what you give us so we can answer you. We don't sell it, we don't use it for ads, and your app's data is not used to train AI models. Email hello@trypitops.com and we'll delete it.

Who we are

PitOps is built by Aditya Negi. You can reach us at hello@trypitops.com.

What we collect

• When you ask for early access: your email, your App Store link, the plan you picked, and anything you add (revenue, stack, Discord handle, your biggest headache).
• When you talk to VEGA on this site: the App Store link you paste and the questions you type, so we can follow up.
• When you wake the crew: your App Store link, public data about your app (its App Store ratings and featured reviews, and its Google Play reviews if it is there too), and, if you ask for it, the email address we send your finding to.
• Where your visit came from: the tag on the link you followed (like ?ref=x) or the name of the site that sent you, kept with your wake run or request so we know which posts are worth writing.
• To keep the crew from being overloaded: a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, used only to limit how often one visitor can wake the crew.
• If you join the pilot: read-only keys for the tools you connect, and the data the crew reads through them.

How we use it

• To answer your request and send your finding.
• To choose the founding apps and send you pilot details.
• To run your crew, if you join. Your keys are used for nothing else.

We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.

Your keys and your app's data

Keys start read-only, are stored encrypted and are only used to run your crew. Your app's data is not used to train AI models. You can revoke any key at any time from the tool it belongs to.

Who else handles it

Only the services that run PitOps: Cloudflare, which serves this site, counts visits and runs Turnstile, the quick check that you are a person (it sees your IP address and some details about your browser); our hosting; email delivery; PayPal for pilot payments (we never see your card or bank details); and Anthropic, whose AI models the crew runs on. If you connect your own Anthropic key, that usage runs under your own Anthropic account.

Cookies

We don't use advertising cookies or trackers. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't follow you to other sites. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address. The DARK / LIGHT switch remembers your choice in your own browser.

Email hello@trypitops.com to see, correct or delete what we hold, or to leave the waiting list. Reply to any email we send and we'll stop.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
